The Kemptown residence build in 1802 is located in the East Cliff Conservation Area and has a Grade II listing attached to it. Lolita Colenso Design was task with restoring and upgrading this Regency mid-terraced house to its original glory. Our concept and challenge was to breathe new life into all four floors whilst respecting the heritage of this listed building and restoring many of the lost historic detailing. The house was untouched for over a decade and was in need of complete refurbishment, involving the restoration of the wooded floors, architraves, skirting and fireplaces to their original condition.
